A copy of the following newspaper article, hand-dated April 12, 1956, was found in a scrapbook owned by Town Historian Richard Schmal:

    Peterman Pontiac Agency Moved to Crown Point

    Clarence Peterman, who has enjoyed a highly successful patronage here since purchasing the Pontiac Agency from Sunderland about two years ago, has moved to Crown Point.

    Mr. Peterman said his reason for leaving Lowell was that he couldn't find a suitable building. That expansion was necessary if he was to continue rendering service as well as sell new cars.
