Clayton Love
- Mrs. Clayton Love went to Boston last Friday to visit her husband, Clayton Love, F 2/c, stationed there with the navy. He expects to sail for overseas duty in the near future.
A July 26, 1945, Lowell Tribune article found on page 2, column 1 listed several servicemen who were home, among them, Clayton Love, F 1/c, home from overseas.
This August 16, 1945, Lowell Tribune article was found on page 2, column 1:
- Seaman Clayton Love returned to Great Lakes Monday, for further assignment to sea duty, after spending a 20-day leave here with his wife and other relatives.
This November 1, 1945, Lowell Tribune article was found on page 2, column 1:
- Clayton Love, F 2/c, is home from Great Lakes, after receiving his discharge from the navy. Clayton saw action in the closing months of the Pacific war in the battle off Okinawa.
