Daniel C. Burke

The following Febraury 15, 1968, Lowell Tribune article was found on page 5, column 8:
    Army Private First Class Daniel C. Burke, 19, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph R. Burke, Route 1, Cedar Lake, Ind., recently arrived near Duc Pho, Vietnam, with the American Division's 11th Light Infantry Brigade.

    Before reaching Vietnam, he received extensive jungle training in Hawaii. The division is currently in combat against the enemy.

    Pvt. Burke is a grenader in Company D, 1st Battalion of the brigade's 20th Infantry.
