Darwin H. Himebaugh (1842-1927)
- Darwin H. Himebaugh was born June 26, 1842, and died March 22, 1927, at the age of 84 years, 8 months and 26 days. At the age of four years he moved with parents from Pennsylvania into Illinois. Later the family moved to Lowell, Indiana, which has since been his permanent home. Mr. Himebaugh lived a quiet home life. At an early period of life he became identified with the Congregational church of Geneva, Ill.
For many years he made his home with his sister, Mrs. Marietta Davis, who is the only surviving member of the immediate family. Beside Mrs. Davis he is survived by two nephews, Judson Davis, of Butte, Montana, and Willard Davis, of Lowell.
Funeral services were held at the home, conducted by Rev. Dougherty. Interment in the Lowell cemetery in charge of Undertaker Sheets. Music was furnished by Mrs. J.W. Belshaw and Mrs. George Foster. The pall bearers were: Paul Hathaway, Albert Foster, Jesse Little, Elden Hayhurst, Nicholas Minninger, George Hoevet.
