The following unidentified newspaper article was found in a scrapbook owned by Betty Burton of Lowell:

MARRIED: -- At Crown Point Tuesday, March 12, 1901, Eugene Duckworth and Miss Della Wagin; Rev. Dessmyer officiating. The parties are among Lowell's most estimable young people and we join their many friends in wishing them a long life of happiness and prosperity. The newly married couple left on the afternoon train, Tuesday, for a short visit with relatives in Chicago and Chariton, Iowa.
