MISS DORIS STUDER IS BRIDE OF PFC. DEAN HAMILTON
The E.L. Worley home was the setting for the wedding Thrusday, December 27, of Miss Doris Studer and Pfc. Dean Hamilton of Shelby. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Studer of Renssalaer and he is the son of Mrs. Andrew McKeon of Shelby and Charles Hamilton of Black Oak. The Rev. E.L. Worley officiated. The bride was attired in a street length dress of beige lace and faille, with black accessories. Her lovely corsage was composed of roses and carnations. Mrs. Arthur Studer, for her role as matron of honor, wore a rose print street length dress with black accessories and her corsage was made up of sweet peas.Sgt. Arthur Studer, brother of the bride, served as attendant to the groom.
The new Mrs. Hamilton is a graduate of Rensselaer high school. The groom attended Lowell high school prior to his enlistment in the Army. He served in Korea, where he received leg wounds in October, 1950. He is stationed at Camp Atterbury, where he is still receiving treatment.
Following the wedding ceremony, the couple was honored at a wedding supper in the home of Mrs. Essie Flatt and son. Guests were Sgt. and Mrs. Studer, attendants to the bridal couple, Miss June Sorenson, Miss Doris Sirois, who baked the lovely wedding cake at the supper, Leslie Dobyns, and Mr. and Mrs. Gene Flatt and family.
The bride and groom spent their honeymoon in Indianapolis.
