The following article was found in the March 18, 1943, Lowell Tribune on page 1, column 3:

    LOCAL LADY'S FATHER MEETS DEATH IN GARY MILL

    Egnatz Antall, age 52, father of Mrs. Joe Yahl, living south of town, passed away at the Mercy hospital, Gary, last Thursday a few hours after his body had been badly crushed when he slipped and fell into the hoisting gears of a crane while he was inspecting a motor in the 44-inch blooming mill at the Gary works.

    Antall, a resident of Hobart, had lived in the north part of the county the past 26 years.

    He is survived by two daughters, Miss Helena Antall of Hobart and Mrs. Joseph Yahl of Lowell; three sons, John of Hammond, Steve, stationed in the army air forces at Jefferson Barracks, Mo., and Joseph of Hobart; a sister, Mrs. Mary Toth of Rita, W. Va., and three grandchildren.
