    Pfc. Elmer Solomon has been stationed at Aachen, Germany, but now writes of swimming in the Mediterranean Sea. He is in the medical corps.
This September 13, 1945, Lowell Tribune article was found on page 2, column 1:
    Pfc. Elmer Solomon, who has been overseas in France and Germany, where he was stationed with U.S. forces, has arrived home on a 30-day furlough which he will spend at the home of his parents, the John Solomons, and other relatives.
