Elvira Harris Wooldridge

Elvira Harris Wooldridge
(Mrs. George Wooldridge)

The following unidentified newspaper article, hand-dated 1903, was in a collection owned by Lowell Town Historian Richard Schmal:

    Harris - Wooldridge

Miss Elvira Harris and Dr. George Wooldridge were married at the home of the bride's parents Mr. and Mrs. James Harris on Wednesday afternoon, March 4th, at 3 o'clock, the Rev. D.D. Hoagland officiating.

The immediate relatives of the bride and groom being the only guests present made it a quiet home affair. The happy couple were the recipients of many beautiful and valuable presents. Immediately after the ceremony they departed on the 4:15 train for Chicago, after which they will be at home to their many friends at Crown Point, where the doctor is engaged in the practice of his profession of Veterinary Surgeon. The TRIBUNE joins the many friends of the happy young couple in extending congratulations and best wishes for a long life of happiness and prosperity.
