The following undated, unidentified newspaper article was found in a copy of Helen Craft's Scrapbook at the Lowell Public Library:

John Berg, of Dyer, and Miss Esther Minas, of this place, were married by Rev. Father Guethoff at the Catholic church at 8 o'clock Tuesday morning. The bride's parents tendered the happy couple an elaborate dinner, to which hosts of friends were invited. The happy couple departed at once for Dyer where they will go to housekeeping. -- Crown Point Star. John was a former Lowell boy and that they young couple may have a long and happy life is the wish of his many friends . . .
