The following April 17, 1952, Lowell Tribune article was found on page 2, column 3:

FINAL RITES TODAY FOR MRS. JONES OF SHELBY

Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock this afternoon, April 17, at the Sheets funeral home, for Mrs. Etta Louise Jones, who passed away Tuesday following a lingering illness.

Rev. E.L. Worley, pastor of the Shelby Church of Christ, will conduct the rites, and interment will be in the Maplewood cemetery at Crown Point.

Mrs. Jones, a resident of Shelby, was born in Rockford, Ill., February 10, 1880. Her husband, John Calvin Jones, preceded her in death.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Arlene Parks of Shelby; a son, Clifford Jones of Hessville; a brother, Frank Keeney of Belvidere, Ill., and six grandchildren, besides a host of other relatives and friends.
