Eva Dorothy Allison Osburne
(Mrs. Melvin Osburne)
The following July 9, 1925 Lowell Tribune article appeared on page 1, column 1:
MARRIED
Melvin Osburne and Miss Eva Allinson* were married at Valparaiso July 16th. The bride formerly resided at Schneider and attended the Lowell high school and is known to many of our people as [a] most estimable young lady. The groom resides near Hebron and is a very highly respected young man. We extend congratulations and best wishes to the young couple. They will make their home on a farm near Hebron.Mrs. Joseph Little, sister of the bride, gave a shower for the newly married couple at her home a week ago last Saturday night. About fifty guests were present and they received many gifts. A fine luncheon was served and all present had a most enjoyable evening.
* NOTE -- Although the bride's maiden name is spelled "Allinson" in this article, the 1921 Lowell High School yearbook spelled it "Allison."
