Evelyn Burch Vinnedge (1839-1929)

The following September 12, 1929, Lowell Tribune article appeared on page 5, column 5:
    Evelyn Burch, wife of James Vinnedge, was born at Plymouth, Ind., in September 1839. After her marriage she lived in this vicinity a number of years and will be remembered by a number of the older people. Later they moved to a farm near Zion City, Ill., where she passed away August 23, lacking by a few days of being 90 years old. Her husband preceded her in death several years ago. Funeral services were held at the home Aug. 26 with burial in the township cemetery by the side of her husband. She leaves one son, Roland, of Zion City, by a former marriage, two sons, Joseph, of Zion City, Walter of New York, and two daughters, Mrs. Arvilla Irish and Miss Fronia, of Zion City, besides a number of grand children and great grand children and other relatives. Two children, who died in infancy, are buried at Creston.
