    GIVEN SURPRISE PARTY ON HIS BIRTHDAY, OCT. 26th

    Saturday evening, Oct. 26th, a group of relatives and friends honored Ewald Haemker at a surprise birthday party.
    Guests were: Mr. and Mrs. Henry Veims, Marlene and Kenneth; Mr. and Mrs. Walter Neulieb and family of Chicago Heights; Mrs. Emma Haemker, Anna and Gust Haemker; Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Bremer and son, Ronald; Mr. and Mrs. August Weber and family; Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Haemker and family of Crete, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Stodt and family of Peotone, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Lalemider and family of Frankfort, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. Harry Luelleman of Hazel Crest, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. Paul Rehborg and family; Mr. and Mrs. Walter Benck and son, Jimmie and Marilyn Boecker of Beecher, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. August Peters and son, Richard; Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Wood of Lowell.
    Ewald received many nice gifts and at midnight a delicious lunch was served.
