The following unidentified newspaper article (ca. 1903-5) was found in a scrapbook owned by Betty Burton of Lowell:
    Although Florence Kuhn was twelve years old last Monday, that was only her second birthday anniversary, she having been born February 29th. Her parents Mr. and Mrs. Charles Kuhn celebrated the occasion by extending an invitation to her young friends to come and make merry with them. They came in goodly numbers and an enjoyable time was had in the way of games and sports. Refreshments were served, which all enjoyed very much. Those present were:
