The following article, copied from the Stark Family History, was found in the Local History clipping files at the Lowell Public Library (LH-- Vital Statistics, vol. 5, page 1):

FRANCES M. VOLLMAN

CEDAR LAKE -- The 34-year-old granddaughter of Mrs. Susan Stark, of Cedar Lake, Frances M. Vollman, of Chicago, will be buried with funeral services Friday in Chicago.

She died Feb. 2. Funeral services are scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Friday from the Burns Funeral Home, 1356 Wellington Ave., Chicago, with rites at 10 a.m. in St. Sebastian Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Chicago.

Survivors include the mother, Frances Vollman; three brothers, Edward, Arthur and Richard of Chicago; her grandmother; and other less-closely related kin in Hammond and Cedar Lake.
