The following September 23, 1948, Lowell Tribune article was found on page 1, column 5:

    FORMER SHERBURNVILLE MAN DIED SUDDENLY

    Frank Dickey, 82, former resident of the Sherburnville community, died suddenly in the Butler hotel, Spokane, Wash., last Friday. Well known in this community also, his body was shipped to the Weaver funeral home, arriving here Sunday afternoon. Services were held at Weaver's at 11 o'clock Monday, Rev. Reisen of Lowell, officiating. Interment was made in Six Mile Grove cemetery, west of Sherburnville, in charge of W.R. Weaver.

    Surviving are six sons*, Cecil of Attica, Ind.; Leslie, James and Robert of Chicago, and Paul of Cleveland, and a half brother, Ben, of Indianapolis. His wife, Eva, who passed away four years ago, was a sister of Lewellyn Smith of Lowell.

* NOTE -- Although the obituary says Frank Dickey had six surviving sons, only five were listed.
