The following obituary was found in the March 18, 1943, Lowell Tribune, on page 1, column 2:

    GEORGE LEROY DIES IN INDIANA HARBOR HOME

    George Leroy, 73, died at his home at Indiana Harbor last Thursday after being in ill health for some time. The family were residents of Lowell and vicinity for several years before moving to Indiana Harbor about 25 years ago.

    Surviving are a son Claude Leroy of Gary; and two daughters, Mrs. Vira Nolan, Valparaiso, and Mrs. Edith Blais of Indiana Harbor.

    Funeral services were in Indiana Harbor last Sarurday with interment beside his wife, who died a number of years ago, in the Hebron cemetery.
