George Schmal
The following April 22, 1943, Lowell Tribune article was found on page 4, column 2:
George Schmal, 82, well known over the county, passed away at his home in Crown Point last Thursday. He leaves a family of grown children. He was a brother of Fred Schmal of Lowell. Funeral services were held at Crown Point, Monday. Another article in the same issue of the paper (page 5, column 3) added the following: Mr. and Mrs. Fred Schmal attending the funeral of his brother, George Schmal, at Crown Point, Monday.
