The following article was found in the April 1, 1943, Lowell Tribune on page 2, column 1:

After a visit here with Rev. Edward M. Boney and Mr. and Mrs. Ross Cole, Lieut. Gerald Cameron will leave for Washington, D.C. to attend advance officers' training school. He was formerly manager of the Civic theatre in Gary.
