    Glenn Knecht New L.H.S. Football Assistant

    The Lowell high school coaching staff was rounded out this week when Glenn Knecht, Purdue University alumnus, signed a contact to fill the post of assistant football coach.

    Mr. Knecht's athletic background included four years of football at Elder high school, Cincinnati, Ohio, and four years at Purdue, where he received two minor and two major letters at the center position a 1955 graduate, he has a B.S. in Physical Education, and a minor in mathematics.

    Because of his experience as lineman, Knecht will be line coach, and Head Coach Dan Molchan, a former teammate on the Boilermaker squad, will handle the backfield.

    Completing the four man coaching staff are L.H.S. are Paul Schuyler, basketball, and Tom Stuart, track and cross county.
