Guy R. "Junior" Haskell

This May 31, 1951, Lowell Tribune article was found page 5, column 4:
    Pvt. Guy R. Haskell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Guy Haskell, left Memorial Day for Camp Kilmer, N.J., from where he will leave soon for Europe. "Junior" completed his training at Camp Breckinridge, Ky., and was permitted a 10-day "delay in enroute."

The following November 29, 1951, Lowell Tribune article was found on page 1, column 2:
    Pfc. Guy R. Haskell RA16359043, Co. "H," 16th Inf. Regt., APO 696, c/o Postmaster, New York, N.Y., will enjoy receiving letters from friends in the service and at home. Guy is experiencing varied activities while stationed in Germany. His company rebuilt a chapel and recently returned from mock battle along the Rhine.

The following November 13, 1952, Lowell Tribune article appeared on page 2, column 1:

    Pfc. R. Guy Haskell

    Stationed in Germany, near Nuremberg, Guy Haskell is driving a big semi supply truck. He sends his address to home friends from whom mail will be appreciated.

    Guy recently experienced an accident from which he suffered severe bruises. Swerving his truck to avoid hitting a child who darted across the highway, Guy's truck jackknifed and was ditched. He is fully recovered and back at work.
