Harold O’Brien

Harold O'Brien

The following November 6, 1952, Lowell Tribune article appeared on page 2, column 4:
Tom O'Brien, son of Mr. and Mrs. Claude O'Brien, recently enlisted in the Navy and has gone to San Diego, Calif., for boot training. Tom's brother Harold, also with the Navy, is a member of the crew aboard the U.S.S. Princeton aircraft carrier which has been in Japanese waters for the past three months. Harold, who enlisted last March, also received boot training at San Diego. The boys hope to be shipmates.

The O'Briens, formerly of Hammond, have resided on a farm near Lowell since 1946. The boys send their addresses to area friends:

Thomas O'Brien, P836-36 U.S.N. Training Center, San Diego 33 California.

    Harold O'Brien, S.A. 461-46-70, 4th Div. U.S.S. Princeton, C.V. 37 c/o F.P.O., San Francisco, Calif.
