Harry Roy
The following article was found in the April 1, 1943, Lowell Tribune on page 2, column 1:
- A letter to the Leo Roys, former Lowell residents, from their son, Pvt., Harry Roy, with the U.S. cavalry, states that he is with his outfit somewhere in England and among other things mentioned that they are rationed on food, candy, and cigarettes. Harry's advice to his family and all others is "keep your chin up, and always keep smiling."
