Helen Hasemann Dannenberg
(Mrs. Walter Dannenberg)

The following May 12, 1927, Lowell Tribune article appeared on page 1, column 2:

    HASEMANN - DANNENBERG

Miss Helen Hasemann, daughter of Henry Hasemann, of Beecher, and Walter Dannenberg, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Dannenberg, were united in marriage Sunday afternoon at 2 in the St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran church of Petersburg.

The attending couples were Miss Hilda Hasemann, Roland Rudolph, Willie Hasemann, Miss Ruby Rudolph and Miss Evelyn Rudolph and Harvey Guritz. Two of these couples preceded the bridal pair down the main aisle of the church. The groom was accompanied by Roland Rudolph, followed by the bride, who was led to the altar by her sister, Miss Hilda Hasemann.

Little Miss Elenore Hasemann acted as flower girl and carried the wedding rings in a large white calla lily.

The bride was beautifully attired in a white silk georgette dress with bead trimmings and wore white kid slippers and carried a large shower bouquet of white roses and lilies of the valley.

The maid of honor, Miss Emma Hasemann, wore an orchid taffeta dress and carried a bouquet of pink roses. Misses Evelyn and Ruby Rudolph were attired in pink taffeta dresses and carried bouquets of pink roses. The flower girl was very pretty in a pale yellow crepe dress.

After the double ring ceremony the bridal party left for Chicago Heights and returned to the home of the groom at six o'clock when all the guests partook of the sumptuous dinner prepared by the efficient hands of Mrs. Dannenberg.

The Rev. K.A. Guenther officiated at the ceremony and based the address to the young couple on John 10 verse 10-16 exhorting them to accept Jesus as their good shepherd on life's way and pointed out that He, the only good shepherd of mankind, is willing and anxious to lead them beside the green pastures and still waters and finally to take them into the fold of eternal bliss.

What a host of friends Mr. and Mrs. Walter Dannenberg have was evident from the large audience that witnessed the ceremony Sunday afternoon who all wish them much happiness.

Mr. and Mrs. Dannenberg will make their home with the groom's parents at least for the immediate future.
    -- Grant Park Anchor.

The many friends of the bride and groom in this vicinity extend congratulations to them.
