Henry T. Uhter
- Henry T. Uhter, age 80, of Shelby, passed away on Wed., Jan. 19, 1977,
at St. Anthony Medical Center in Crown Point. Survivors include his
wife, Viola; one daughter, Irene Graham of Shelby; one grand-daughter;
one sister, Clara Uhter of Chicago Hts., Ill.; and three great
grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, Jan. 22 from the Eskridge Funeral Home in Lowell with Pastor Don Wilson officiating. Burial took place at Lowell Cemetery. Mr. Uhter was a lifelong resident of the area, a retired engineer from the New York Railroad, and a member of the Brotherhood of Engineers and Firemen and Firemen Lodge #682.
