The following article was found in the May 2, 1949, Lowell Tribune on page 2, column 4:
    LOCAL COUPLE TO OBSERVE ANNIVERSARY

    Next Thursday, Feb. 17, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Williams will observe their 60th wedding anniversary quietly at home. Because of the illness of Mrs. Williams, a public open house will not be held, but they would appreciate a card shower.
