    Says Army Life Agrees With Him

    Writing home recently, Pvt. Herman Bruckman, stationed at Camp Barkley, Texas, says that army life really agrees with him and he is feeling fine.

This March 4, 1943, Lowell Tribune article was found on page 2, column 1:

    Just Doesn't Like Texas

    Writing home from Camp Barkley, Texas, Herman Bruckman says: "I wouldn't trade one square foot of Lowell for all of Texas."

The following April 15, 1943, Lowell Tribune article was found on page 6, column 3:

    Transferred to San Antonio

    Cpl. Herman Bruckman, is now stationed at San Antonio, Texas, following transfer from Camp Barkley, Texas.

This Lowell Tribune article was found in the November 29, 1945, issue (page 2, column 1):
    After being overseas 27 months, Sgt. Herman Bruckman arrived home last Thursday after being discharged from the service at Camp Atterbury. Herman, with his outfiit, saw hard fighting on the German front.
