MR. AND MRS HERMAN HELDT MARRIED FIFTY YEARS
Surrounded by their children and a host of relatives and friends, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Heldt, Sr., were happily surprised on their 50th wedding day Friday evening, Feb. 12, at their home in Beecher. Their first wedding ceremony at St. John's Evangelical and Ref. church, was performed by the late Rev. G. Koch and at the Golden Jubilee the Rev. J. J. Merzdorf gave an appropriate talk and reunited the jubilee couple and prayed for God's favor upon them for a happy and blessed future. Two of the attendants at their first wedding, August Hadders and Mrs. Mathilda Belshaw, both of Lowell, again were at their side at the 50th anniversary celebration.After the ceremony the family and guests enjoyed the evening in conversation and games, ending with a mid-night lunch.

Merzdorf, pastor of St. John's Evangelical church; Mr. and Mrs. Bert Belshaw and son Burrel, and Mr. and Mrs. August Hadders of Lowell; Mrs. Dora Ostermeyer, Miss Lillie Ohlenkamp, Mr, and Mrs. Henry Steben, Mr. and Mrs. George Stadt and Roland, Marilyn and Myron, Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Kiedaisch, John Frahm, Mr. and Mrs. Julius Christensen and daughters, Julia and Shirley and Genola, Mr. and Mrs. Christ Christensen and daughter, Paula Jean, Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Kiedaisch and daughter Myrna Ray.
