Ingeborg Vassmer Cheeseman (1872-1956)

The following February 19, 1953, Lowell Tribune article was found in on page 10, column 1:
- Mr. and Mrs. A.D. Cheeseman of near Cook, marked up their 57th wedding anniversary on their calendar of life on January 29th. There was much celebrating as celebrating goes, for Mr. Cheesman has had poor health for a time, but their friends and neighbors remembered them on the day. Mrs. Ida Meyers, a very dear friend, came to call and remind them of byegone days.
A copy of the following December 27, 1956, Lowell Tribune article was found on page 1, column 5:
Mrs. A.D. Cheeseman Dies at Creston
Mrs. Ingeborg (Vassmer) Cheeseman, 84, of Creston, passed away Friday, December 21. She was the widow of the late Adolph David Cheeseman, who died in 1953.For many years the couple farmed in the Sheridan community, and following Mr. Cheeseman's death, she moved to Creston.
She was born October 31, 1872. The exact place of her birth is unknown.* She leaves no immediate survivors.
Memorial services were conducted by Rev. O.R. Foster, of the Lake Dalecarlia Community church, in the Sheets Funeral Home, and interment was made beside her husband in the German Methodist cemetery
* NOTE -- Descendant Mark Vassmer has added the information that Mrs. Cheeseman "was born in Denmark/German border area, probably Flensberg."
