Mrs. Isabel Turner
Isabel Irwin Turner was born near Black Creek, New York, February 2, 1847, and passed away at Lowell, on March 17, 1927, after a several weeks' illness, at the age of 80 years, 1 month and 15 days.She was united in marriage to Perkins Turner in New York, August 4, 1862. They resided there until 1867, when they moved to Lowell, where she has resided for the past sixty years. To this union three children were born; two daughters, Francy and Clara, both of whom preceded their mother in death, and one son, Fred, who resides in Lowell. Mr. Turner passed away a number of years ago.
She leaves to mourn her death, one son, Fred Turner, two grand-daughters, Miss Zada Fisher and Mrs. Ruth Dirk.
The writer has known the deceased since he was a small boy, and knew her to be a woman who was admired by all who knew her. She was of pleasant disposition and made fast friends of all with whom she came in contact.
Funeral services were held at the Christian church Saturday at 2 p.m. Rev. F.B. Nickerson, former pastor of the church, conducted the funeral service. Interment was made in Lowell cemetery in charge of Undertaker Sheets.
The following acted as pall bearers: Nate Davis, George Hoevet, M.P. Sprague, John Miller, Byrl Grant, Forrest Brannock.
