The following April 11, 1968, Lowell Tribune article was found on page 7, columns 4-5:

Army Private Jay L. Noyes, 20, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack W. Noyes, Route 3, Cedar Lake, Ind., was assigned as a clerk with the 62nd Engineer Battalion Company D near Long Binh, Vietnam, March 5.
