Jerome "Jerry" Engel

The following May 11, 1944, Lowell Tribune article was found on page 6, column 3:

Jerry Engle joined the navy recently and is now stationed at Great Lakes where he will take his boot training.

Note the spelling differences of his last name in different articles.

This Lowell Tribune article was found in the June 13, 1946, issue (page 7, column 3):

Jerome Engel, S 1/c has received his discharge from naval service at the Great Lakes Naval Training Station. He is now at home here.
