Jim Ault
- Jim Ault rode from his place on the marsh to Shelby Saturday, turned his pony loose for home and walked to Lowell. He laid in a big supply of groceries and a pair of hip boots. He stayed with a friend Saturday night and Sunday morning he started for home, with groceries divided in a sack and thrown over his shoulder, and the hip boots in his hand. He had to walk the entire distance home with this load. He started off in good spirits and said that was nothing. He said he would carry five dollars' worth more stuff if any one was fool enough to buy it in order to test him.
