John F. Einspahr
- John F. Einspahr and Miss Nellie Hale, both of Lowell, were united in marriage at Hammond Tuesday afternoon. Rev. C.J. Sharp, pastor of the Christian church of that city, performed the ceremony. After the ceremony they left for Compton, Ill., where they will visit the groom's brother, Ed Einspahr, for a few days. They expect to return home Friday of this week.
The following October 19, 1944, Lowell Tribune article was found on page 1 column 6:
JOHN F. EINSPAHR PASSED AWAY YESTERDAY MORNING
John F. Enspahr, 64, who has been seriously ill the past four weeks, passed away at the Methodist hospital, Gary, yesterday morning at 7:30. He was born and reared west of town and had been a resident of Lowell since a young man. He operated a tile ditching business and was well known to farmers in southern Lake county for whom he worked.He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife, one sister, Mrs. Dora Stuppy and one brother, Henry, of Utah.
Funeral arrangements had not been completed at press time.

- Funeral services for the late John F. Einspahr will be held at the Church of Christ, Saturday at 2 p.m.
The following October 26, 1944, Lowell Tribune article was found on page 5 column 4:
- Card of Thanks: I wish to extend my heartfelt thanks to relatives, friends and neighbors for the many kind acts during my late husband's illness and for the words of condolence after his passing. Acts like these will long be remembered by me. Signed: Mrs. John F. Einspahr.
