John Mitch

The following September 9, 1926, Lowell Tribune article appeared on page 1, column 5:

    MARRIED AT MOMENCE

A pretty wedding took place at St. Patrick's church at Momence on Wednesday morning of last week, when John Mitch of Lowell, was united in marriage to Mrs. Lillian Hess, of Momence. The ceremony was performed by Rev. A.L. Girard, pastor of the church, and the ring ceremony was used. The young couple were attended by Miss Rosella Yott, a niece of the bride, Ernest Usher, nephew of the bride, Miss Bernice Yott, niece of the bride, and Henry Cote.

Shortly after the ceremony the wedding party gathered at the home of the bride's parents, where a wedding breakfast was served.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Yott. She is a young lady of pleasing personality and is well and favorably known in the community where she has resided for several years. The groom is the son of Mrs. Maggie Mitch, of Lowell, and is a young man who has a large circle of friends here in his home town. The newly married couple will make their home in Lowell.

The Tribune joins their many friends in extending congratulations and best wishes.
