DEATH OF JOHN MOORE
John Moore was born in Ireland August 23, 1858, and died October 14, 1926, at the age of 68 years, 1 month and 20 days. He came to Chicago when he was 20 years old, and about 20 years ago came to this vicinity, where he has since resided. He has made his home with Mr. and Mrs. Eli Edmonds for several years. He was a man who made many friends and they will regret to hear of his death.Funeral services were held at the Sheets under taking rooms at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 15th. Rev. F.B. Nickerson, pastor of the Christian church, preached the funeral sermon. Interment was made in Pine Grove cemetery. The following acted as pall bearers: Bert Strickland, Leslie Strickland, Earle C. Pulver, Bert C. Hayden, Arthur Hayden. Undertaker Sheets had charge of interment.
