The following unidentified newspaper article, hand-dated Aug. 1934, was in a collection owned by Lowell Town Historian Richard Schmal:

John Nichols, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Abram Nichols, formerly of Lowell, was found dead in Chicago Wednesday morning. He has resided in Chicago for many years.

Funeral services will be held at the Christian church in Lowell tomorrow (Friday) at 2 p.m.
