The following April 18, 1968, Lowell Tribune article was found on page 9, column 4:

Airman Lanny C. Devine, son of Mr. and Mrs. Crafton Devine of R. R. 5, Cedar Lake, Ind., has completed basic training at Amarillo AFB, Tex. He has been assigned to the Air Force Technical Training Center at Chanute, AFB, Ill., for specialized schooling as an aircraft maintenance specialist.

Airman Devine is a graduate of Crown Point High School.
