Mrs. John Trelease

The following January 10, 1929, Lowell Tribune article appeared on page 1, column 4:
Blanche (Babcock) Trelease, daughter of Stanley and Relief (Hull) Babcock, was born at Logansporte, Ind., some forty years ago and died in the Englewood hospital, January 2, 1929.

She was united in marriage to John Trelease, June 28, 1905. Mr. Trelease died eight years ago.

Her childhood was spent in Lowell and vicinity. When about 12 years of age her mother moved to Chicago and this was her home for a great many years. She attended college at DePauw and Madison, Wis. She was accomplished in music, both vocal and instrumental, having had studios in Chicago and Gary. About one year ago she went to Clayton, New Mexico, for her health.

She leaves her brother, S.J. Babcock, and aunt, Mrs. W.E. Sigler, and several cousins and a host of friends to mourn her.

Her funeral was held last Friday from the home of her brothers to St. Bride church, with burial in Lowell cemetery.
