Mrs. Lillian Taylor Rites Held Saturday at Funeral Home
Funeral services for Mrs. Lillian Chapman Taylor 82, native here, were held at 3:30 p.m. last Saturday, at the Canaday-Boos Funeral Home. The Rev. Paul C. Wilson of the Methodist church officiated and burial was in Momence cemetery.Mrs. Taylor died at 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 2, at the home of a son, Leon A. Chapman, in North Judson, Ind., where she had been the past three weeks.
The deceased was born here May 4, 1872, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Haynes. She was married Sept. 21, 1899, in Aroma Park to Lewis Chapman of Lowell, Ind. They moved to Lowell, where their two children were born. Mr. Chapman died Dec. 29, 1925.
She was married Feb. 13, 1936, in Kankakee to Alfred Taylor, who died Jan. 25, 1952.
Mrs. Taylor is survived by her son; a daughter, Mrs. Myrtle Mueller of Peotone; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
