MILLER - FRITTS
A profusion of beautiful flowers in pastel shades formed an artistic background at St. Martin's church, Cook, Ind., for the wedding on Miss Lillian Miller, daughter of Mrs. Mary Miller, and Carl Fritts, of Crown Point, son of Dr. and Mrs. C.L. Fritts, which was solemnized at the hour of nine, on Tuesday morning, June 4. The ceremony which took place before a large group of relatives and friends was performed by Rev. Gustave Hottenroth, pastor of the church who read nuptial mass. The maid of honor, Miss Florence Miller, sister of the bride, was attractively attired in an orchid georgette dress and wore a becoming picture hat of horsehair braid, trimmed with velvet ribbon, and carried a bouquet of pink roses. The bride was lovely in a yellow georgette gown. Her veil, attractive because of its simplicity, was fashioned cap shape with rosettes of pearls at the sides. The bridal bouquet was fashioned of white calla lilies and valley lilies en-showered.
The groom was attended by his brother, Clement Fritts, of Crown Point. The groom and his attendant wore becoming suits of dark blue.
Following the ceremony thirty-five guests were welcomed to the home of the bride's mother for a reception and dinner.
After a brief honeymoon, the newly weds will reside on the Fritts ranch at DeMotte, Ind.
Their many friends will join us in extending congratulations and best wishes.
