Lincoln H. Geist

Lincoln H. Geist

This Lowell Tribune article was found in the March 8, 1945, issue (page 2, column 2):

    Receives Gift of Flowers

A card received by Mrs. Dollie Kelsey from a Momence florist this week informed her that flowers had been ordered there for her by a soldier overseas. When Mrs. Kelsey arrived at the florist shop, the card on the bouquet disclosed that they were the gift of Pfc. Lincoln H. Geist, who was born in Lowell and lived next door to the Kelseys for several years until his parents moved to Valparaiso. To say that Mrs. Kelsey was surprised would be putting it mildly.
