The following May 8, 1952, Lowell Tribune article was found in section 2 on page 6, column 5:
    Mr. and Mrs. Carl Hamacher, Mrs. May Garriott and Mr. and Mrs. L.W. Thompson spent Sunday in Brook where they attended memorial services held for the former's sister-in-law, Mrs. Louise Hamacher. Barton Hamacher, son of the deceased is well known in Lowell. He is a salesman for the National Biscuit Company.
