SCHUTZ - PHILLIPS
A lovely wedding took place last Wednesday morning, July 21, 1926, when Miss Madeline Schutz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Valentine Schutz, became the bride of Lester Phillips, son of Mr. and Mrs. E.S. Phillips. Rev. S.J. Ryder performed the ring ceremony.The bride wore a white satin gown and white silk veil and carried a beautiful bouquet of white roses. She was assisted by her sister, Miss Clara, who was dressed in pink and carried a bouquet of pink carnations. Virgil Phillips, brother of the groom, was best man.
After the ceremony a wedding breakfast was served to about 30 immediate relatives.
The young couple are among our most highly respected young people and we join their host of friends in extending congratulations and best wishes.
