The following article was found in the Sept. 14, 1872, Lowell Star on page 5, column 3:

An appropriation has been made for a new bridge west of here, near Oliver Fuller's farm, in West Creek township. The contract has been awarded to Martin Turner, and the work is to be completed as soon as possible.
