Arrives Safely Overseas
Mr. and Mrs. Cordie B. Coffin received word last week of the safe arrival overseas of their son, Pfc. Marvin B. Coffin, who is serving with the Marines as a radio gunner on a scout dive bomber.The following article was found in the January 20, 1944, Lowell Tribune on page 5, column 2:
- Pfc. Marvin B. Coffin, returned to Oakland, Calif., this week, accompanied by his father,
Cordie Coffin of Cedar Lake, who will visit at Hayward, Calif., with his uncle, Elmer Coffin and family. Enroute home he will stop off at Lawrence, Kansas, for a visit with his cousin, Lawrence Kay.
