The following unidentified newspaper article (ca. 1903/4) was found in a scrapbook owned by Betty Burton of Lowell:
    Mrs. Mary Bryant, widow of David Bryant, died at her home, one mile south of Hebron last Sunday, aged 68 years. The funeral was conducted by Rev. Vandine; interment at the Hebron cemetery. Mrs. Susannah Frickle died at her home in Hebron last Friday, aged 66 years. The funeral was conducted by Rev. Vandine; interment at the Hebron cemetery. Both ladies were old and highly esteemed people, and both were members of the Presbyterian church and their funerals were held from that church.
