SURPRISED ON HER BIRTHDAY

A surprise party was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jes Stowell, Thursday night, January 14, in honor of Miss Mary Stowell's 19th birthday. The evening was spent in playing bunco and other games; high scores for bunco going to Miss Mary Wineland and Clarence Solomon; low scores going to Miss Edna Woodke and Fred Solomon.

At a late hour refreshments of cake and fruit were served. Miss Mary received many nice presents, one a nice birthday cake with candles.

Everyone departed, wishing Miss Mary many more happy birthdays.
