The following article was found in the March 30, 1944, Lowell Tribune on page 1, column 5:

Mrs. A.J. Fetters was called to Kentland Sunday by the death of her brother-in-law, Frank Fowler. Mr. Fetters went to Kentland Monday night to attend the funeral which was held there Tuesday.
